Mike Litt is one of the longest-working DJs spinning house in Germany. Born in Washington DC he became well known as a DJ and radio presenter at WDR Radio 1 LIVE. He travels around the globe honoring events as “Mayday”, the “Miami Winter Music Conference” or the “Privilege” (Ibiza) and regularly plays at “Tribehouse” (Neuss). He released several mix-compilations at “Ministry of Sound” and “Kontor”. On his course he released several tracks and remixes on various imprints. Finally we come to the point that Mike presents his latest DJ-mix at Circle Music called “Exile On Mainstreet” – the name could be seen as an homage to the legendary Rolling Stones’ album. 20 years of house and techno have left some formative experiences thus Mike points out the fact that a handmade mix without software or further corrections is something lively and honest. There are little bumps and inaccuracies which emphasize the goal of this compilation: Catching the perfect moment while sliding deeply into house, minimal, dub and reduced electro sounds. The compilation shows Mike’s sense for a heterogenic and variable mixture of great dance tracks and producers: Metro Area who are well known for Detroit's cold futurism, Chicago's abstract track-modes, the warmth of New York and New Jersey's deep house. Westpark Unit provide their vision of soulful deep house & headz songs with a hip hop/jazz attitude and represent Mike’s “family” at Radio 1 LIVE. Forteba is one of the young high-flyer on Plastic City and provides one of many highlights in the mix! Deadmau5 is in heavy rotation gaining support from Names as Pete Tong, John Acquaviva, Chris Lake, Sebastien Leger, Nic Fanciulli, Jody from WOW, Donald Glaude and many many more... Trentemøller, the Danish Electronic DJ & Producer is one of the most attractive and famous artists worldwide – another peak in the accelerating tour to contemplative spaces. Dominik Eulberg - the German original is waving hands from Cocoon Recordings. Alex Flatner – labelhead and master of understatement comes up with a great vocal track remixed by the Spirit-Catcher. James Flavour, Fishhead, Sean Miller..you are awaiting a colourful and sophisticated mix of genres which never loses its leitmotif : High Quality Listening Pleasure !
Alex Flatner feat.
